Adult Problems

So it's been a while since I blogged so a lot of things have changed. Such as: I am no longer a student, YES; I also moved into a new place, DOUBLE YES; and that's about it.

Moving into a new place means new adventures, new learning experiences and new roommates. PARTY ALL THE TIME. Having moved into a new place without any adult supervision has put things into a whole new perspective, for example: if you don't do your dishes, two things happen - 1. no one gets angry with you. 2. they don't get done. Grocery shopping is similar, if you don't grocery shop, you don't eat. Aside from learning these tough lessons we have had some pretty hilarious discoveries as well.

These are a couple of the things we have discovered about our house:
1. Our bathroom fan NEVER turns off. It doesn't matter how many times you hit the off switch, it has a mind of it's own and will NOT turn off.
2. If something breaks, we have no idea how to fix it. Our toilet broke a while back and would legitimately spray you in the face if you weren't careful and our solution was to hold the part that sprayed us and hope for the best. This more often than not would fail. We would stand there, middle of the night, half asleep, holding on to the rampaging hose that sprayed water and accidentally let go. This would result in an almost cartoon like scene where the hose would whip around the bathroom soaking everything in reach and us standing there killing ourselves laughing. I almost miss those days.
3. We have an unrealistic amount of bugs and spiders occupying our home. The first day we ever saw a spider in our house sounded like someone got shot. We screamed a lot, stood on shelves and hair sprayed the poor sucker and then drowned him in the crazy toilet. Now, whenever we see a bug or spider we freak out for a different reason. We have a contest going to see who can kill more. Here's our scores:
Merk (me): Spiders 5, Bugs 10
Berfener (Bethany) Spiders 5, Bugs 4
Crispy (Cristine) Spiders 0, Bugs 3.5
I cant tell if i'm winning or losing.

Living without real adults around is a weird experience but we are having a blast.

Stay Classy.
